Payment24?
|
Payment24.com is an online
payment solutions provider and eCommerce products provider
Payment24 supports back-office

their products and services online with no worry
about Credit Card processing security and privacy.
Payment24 helps vendors to increase their market

What packages you can offer me and what are the differences
Up?
|
Credit Card Verification
If you have access to technical resources
and have your own database driven shopping
cart, then you can integrate to Payment24
directly. The user would select which
product(s) to purchase on your website. Once
the user is ready to pay for the selected
products, you would redirect the user to
Payment24, supply us with the relevant
transaction information (amount and user
information) and we will take care of the
credit card transaction. On completion, the
user would be redirected back to your
website.
All the ASP/PHP pages that you require to
communicate with Payment24 will be provided
to you

Pay-As-You-Go Solution
For the tech-savvy vendor, we also have a
Pay-As-You-Go solution available.
Basically, it works the same as the Credit
Card Verification option; however there are
no monthly charges and the commission
percentage is slightly higher. It also
requires the Vendor to maintain his/her own
shopping cart.

Payment24
Hosted Shopping Cart
Certain vendors prefer to use our Hosted
Shopping Cart solution as no technical
skills are required. You would simply create
your products on the Payment24 Hosted
Shopping cart system. Your site will
redirect your customers to the Payment24
Hosted Shopping Cart which will in turn
display only your products. Your users will
add the desired product(s) to their shopping
baskets. The user would subsequently click
on the checkout button to conclude the
transaction i.e. authorise the credit card
transaction. You would be able to view
online reports to check the status of your
orders. We will be able to provide you with
a 3 day demo account should be interested in
testing the hosted shopping cart
functionality.

Email
Payment Solution
Some vendors, especially those providing
services, prefer to send out invoices via
email.
The Email Payment Solution briefly works as
follows: The vendor sets up the
products/services on the Payment24 server.
The vendor creates a profile for each
customer to be billed (customers can be
re-invoiced using the same profile).
To send an invoice, the vendor selects the
customer and adds the required products to
the invoice. A draft copy of the invoice is
displayed before being emailed to the
customer.
The customer will receive an email message
containing the invoice and a clickable
link. The customer clicks on the link to go
to the Payment24 website. The amount due and
customer contact details will be
pre-populated - the customer would simply
provide the credit card information to
complete the payment process.

In
addition, the vendor also has access to the
Payment24 Transaction Manager where you will
be able to view the orders placed and
processed by Payment24.
To answer your security question, you do
not need any special security software
installed on your server. The entire credit
card transaction takes place on our website.
The payment site is SSL secured.

My
website is under construction, Can I Sign
Up?
|
If your site is under
construction, you can still set up your account
with Payment24.
A number of our new vendors
prefer to include Payment24 in their site design
before being ready to start sales.
However, your account will not be active
until Payment24 verifies your domain and
products.
Please be aware that our Risk
Analysis Department may contact you about any
changes made to domains and products information.
This is for your own protection and to ensure that
the changes do not include any violations in
respect to our policies.

Who can apply for
Payment24 account?
|
Any one can apply for
Payment24 as long as he/she accepts our user
agreements, meets our requirements and commits to
our policies.
You must uphold a web site(s)
that contains complete product information, valid
customer service information, detailed refund and
return policy, and a globally accepted privacy
policy.
Your product or service must meet
our product/service policy requirements. vendors
must verify that their products or services are
not included in Payment24 Not-Allowed-products
list.
Sites found to be selling forbidden
products or services are subject to immediate
account suspension, frozen funds, penalty or fines
on funds, and/or order cancellations, all without
further notice.

Can I use
Payment24 for Non-Internet Orders?
|
Non-internet sales are
currently not supported by Payment24's user agreement
and general policies. Although you can send email invoices
to your customer
with a link to Payment24 email payment system and your customer
can click on the link and enter his credit card details and pay for
against that particular invoice.
Payment24 does hope to be able in
the near future to support Non-Internet Orders in
addition to our services.

Payment24 support Memberships or Subscription
services?
|
No, Payment24 does not support
membership-based or subscription-based products
or services.

Must I have a Shopping
Cart?
|
No, you do not have
to use a shopping cart to integrate with
Payment24.
You can use Payment24 eCommerce
Shopping Basket that can also be easily
incorporated into your site or run from payment24 website
under your sub domain name.

Can
I Use a Shopping Cart?
|
Yes, you can use a
shopping cart and integrate it with Payment24's
services.
Payment24 supports the integration
of your shopping cart into our system, without the
need for any third party provider. We provide you
an HTML code once you are register are ready to go
. The code is designed for easy
implementation. However, if you encounter any
problem in the process, Payment24 support team will
be more than happy to help you.
Our service can
be integrated with almost all shopping carts.

How do I
apply?
|
To setup a vendor
account with Payment24, all
you have to do is to register with Payment24 with a
valid profile information and valid Bank Account
information to receive your money through it. You
do not need any additional bank account but the
one you already have. Payment24 will use its own bank
for your orders, and then do a electronic transfer your money
to your bank.

How
do I close my Account?
|
To close your account
with Payment24, you can simply send an account
closure request to our Customer Support
department at support@Payment24.co.za
and our support team will process your account
closure.

How
do I look up or change my Account
Information?
|
You can access your
Account information from the Vendor Transaction
Manager (VTM) by logging in to your account using your
username and password.

lost my registration information, What do I
do?
|
You can either send an
E-Mail to our Customer Support Team at support@Payment24.co.za
or you can use the Forgot Your Password option and
follow the instructions on the website.

Payments &
Billing
How do
I receive money?
|
You will receive your
money through electronic bank transfer.

When
do I receive money?
|
Each accounting period is
approximately 15 days in length.
Money
Transfers are scheduled each week in
Payment24.com, on day 1and 15 of each month. For new
vendors, we require a startup history of 4
weeks, after which, 2 weeks payment schedules are
enabled.
This arrangement is to protect
both vendors and buyers from possible fraud and
charge backs.
Payment24 charges its vendors
R25.00/R1000
fees per urgent payout. Payment24 payout every 2nd week free of charge on
our standard Credit Card Verification package. Further fees might be
deducted by the receiver bank. For further
information, please contact your bank's
representative.

What
does my Account Status mean?
|
Please read over our
Account conditions:
Account
Activation: Payment24 strives to instantly
activate vendor accounts. However, after you
implant our order code into your web site, an
account manager will be revising your site and
products, and will be contacting you if needed.
In case there is need for further
verification, a verification E-Mail will be sent
requesting from new vendors to verify their
domains and products information. Please reply to
this E-Mail, it’s very important to proceed to
Account Activation.
While your account is
active, you can use All Payment24 services, except
Money Transfer, that will be enabled after you
complete a 6 weeks good history regarding charge
backs and refunds.
Account
suspension: Your account maybe suspended
due to one or more reasons listed below:
Invalid E-Mail or Account
information is detected while verifying your
information after the registration process or
after your Profile updating.
vendor is found to sell
restricted or banned products or services listed
in our Not-Allowed Products list.
vendor has violated any of
Payment24 policies or agreements.
vendor is found to have high
rate of charge backs or refunds.
vendor requested his account
cancellation.
When the vendor's account is
suspended, it will be accessed for read only and
all his account functions will be disabled.
An Account will be permanently closed 6
months after its suspension.
If a vendor
does not respond to E-Mail notifications sent by
Payment24 Operations department regarding suspensions
reasons, his account will be
suspended.
During the suspension period,
the vendor’s balance will not be transferred
until the account is closed or reactivated.
Account Closure:
The Account can be
closed if the owner requested his/her account
closure.
The Account will be
closed after 6 months of suspension.
After the closure, our accounting
department will calculate the vendor’s balance
and risk factor. If his/her balance exceeds the
money transfer fees (R20.00), it will be transferred
directly to his/her bank account, if not, the
transfer will be discarded.
Important Note:
Once a vendors requests account closure, Payment24
considers the current balance to be the only
available security for future charge backs or
disputes. A release time of 120 days or more is
applied on certain risk levels. 1% charge back
ratio will normally cause reserve holding for 120
days. (this is the period credit card companies
are giving to their card holders to dispute a
charge).

Payment24 accept other forms of payment such as Banking
checks, Online checks, or EFT
transfers?

No, Currently Payment24

of online payment methods and solutions; this is

Reserve Policy in Payment24?
|
No, Payment24 does not
have reserve policy.

Credit Cards does Payment24 support?

system to also accept all other major credit and
electronic cards soon, as well as electronic Check
Drafts and Direct electronic funds transfer

are the currencies supported by
Payment24?

We support all the major
currencies. Our exchange rate system is updated
every 24 hours.

Am I Buying a
Merchant Account?
|
Payment24 does not provide
merchant Accounts.
Payment24 acts as a reseller of your
products/services, enabling vendors to sell
their products and services online with no worry
about Credit Card processing security and
privacy.

Do I
Need An SSL Server?
|
No, you do not need an
SSL server in order to integrate your site with
Payment24.
Please note that the
payment pages can not be located on the vendor’s
own servers. You can not send any info or fill the
payment pages yourself because part of our order
identification system, fraud detection service and
order tracking depends on having the customer
input their payments info on our SSL secure order
page.
The payment page must be located on
Payment24 secured SSL pages because it contains
critical information for buyers, and Payment24 must
guarantee its complete security.

How is the
order processed with Payment24?
|
A customer visits a
website, selects a product, then advances to the
checkout portion of the process.
At this
point, customers access an SSL-encrypted order
page on Payment24 servers, which guarantees the
security of their personal and payment
information.
Once the customer enters and
submits the information, Payment24's processes
immediately query the customer's bank. The process
verifies if the information submitted is correct,
and if the funds required for the sale are
available.
The order status may be one of
the following:
Order
Authorized: The information filled by the
buyer is preliminary valid information.
Payment24 starts processing the order
after 24 hours from the date of order
authorization.
This period of time is to the
advantage of vendors, to allow probable
cancellations and to avoid Refunds after Orders
processing. In case of refunds, vendors lose the
discount percentage and fees taken by
Payment24.com.
After this period of time, the order
is further verified prior to capture.
After the authorization of the card
issuer, Payment24 can capture the Order which means
to process the payment and debit the money from
the buyer account to vendor account on
Payment24.
Failed Transaction: This
case determines that an Error occurred in the
connection between the buyer and Payment24 while
placing the order.
In this case, the order has
Failed
Failed
Authorized: This happens if the Credit Card
information is inaccurate or refused by the Credit
Card Issuer Bank, or the Credit Card has expired,
or sufficient funds were not available in the
buyer’s account. In this case, the order has
Failed
Pending Authorized:
This means that the Operation was
aborted (the order verification process is pending
from the part of the Credit Card issuer), or there
is a possible fraud attempt which means that the
buyer could not bypass the extra password
verification (3D secure/Verified by
Visa).
In this case Payment24 tries to process
the order again; the order – after retrying the
verification process - ends either
Authorized or
Cancelled.
In All Cases Checking
Orders for Fraud Risks Takes 48 Hours.
After the Verification Processes is
completed, the Order will end in one of three
statuses:
Order Captured: Payment
is processed and money was debited from the
buyer’s account to the vendor’s account on
Payment24.
Order Cancelled: The
order is not processed, no charges are made.
Order Needs more
Verification: Payment24 proceeds to contact
the vendor and/or the Buyer requesting more
information about this order to be
verified.
vendors who will be found
making high rates of charge backs or refunds will
have their account with Payment24 suspended.

How
can I keep track of my orders and my
balance?
|
You can use our Payment24
Vendor Transaction Manager(VTM) after login with your
username and password to track the orders statuses
and to check on your payments balance.
Payment24 sends returned Parameters to
a return page of your choice after each order
placed, you can also use those parameters to track
your orders and integrate those parameters in your
system.

No, currently we only
offer our services to South African clients.

How
can I integrate my shopping cart with
Payment24?
|
For each of your domains,
Payment24 will provide you with HTML code that is
used to send us an amount order. This code will
enable you to sell many products to the same buyer
at one click.
The Shopping cart integration
code is situated in your domain details
page.
The integration process is fully
explained in the “Activation/Integration Email”.

To integrate your single
products with Payment24, we will provide you with the
Code needed for integration. It is an easy to use
HTML code, provided once you register your

How can I
test the integration with Payment24?
|
You can test the
integration with Payment24 by setting your domain
into Test mode which we set when we setup your
account. You must advice us to make it LIVE once

What is
"demo/test mode"?
|
Test mode is a feature
added by Payment24 to help you during the testing
phase. Enabling the “test mode” for one of
your domains means that all transactions for it
are for testing only. No real transactions will
occur on the buyer’s credit card. You can only
have one domain setup under one account with us.

Refunds and
Cancellations
Refund
Policy:
|
Refunds happen
when: The Buyer complains that the
goods were not delivered. The Buyer complains
that the goods were not as described in the
vendor’s website. The Buyer complains that
he/she didn’t place this order. The Buyer
complains that his/her credit card was stolen or
lost or complains for any other reason.
Only Payment24 or vendors can refund
orders after they were captured.
When a Refund is requested, Payment24
contacts the vendor for details and evidences,
if not properly provided, Payment24 will refund the
order.
In Case of Charge
Backs:
The vendor refunds the Buyer’s
money and he pays R185.00 as charge back fees to
Payment24.

What Do I Need
to Know About Fraud?
|
With the increased rates
of Internet frauds, online thefts and credit card
fraud, vendors must be aware what FRAUD
is.
Unfortunately, the credit card industry
has not been as quick to provide eCommerce
vendors with feasible resources of identifying
fraudulent use.
Payment24 combines a number of external
and internal resources to identify potentially
fraudulent orders. These, in combination with your
own diligence and familiarity with the
customer-base serviced, will go a long way toward
reducing the number of fraudulent (and
subsequently cancelled) orders experienced with
your product or service.
Downloadable goods experience higher
rates of fraudulent activity due to the almost
instant access to the product purchased.
Additionally, some downloadable products (such as
software) experience even higher levels of fraud
than others.
Tangible products should not be
shipped prior to 48 hours unless you are very
certain the sale is legitimate.
Be familiar with charge back
procedures.
Post your privacy and refund/return
policies clearly.

products/services can not be sold?
|
Your products/services
must be legal for sale in EU, provinces, and
countries where you accept customers.
The
following products and services CANNOT be sold:
Pornography & Adult Content,
subscription services, chat, or any pornography.
nudity, web cams or links to pornographic sites.
Firearms, Ammunition, High Capacity Magazines,
Air Guns Fireworks or Pyrotechnic Devices or
Supplies Alcoholic Beverages Unapproved
Drugs Hazardous Materials, Combustibles,
Corrosives Gambling Transactions or Sports
Gambling Prognostication Pre-Adult Content -
Pictures, Videos, etc. of Individuals under the
Age of 18 Years Sites That Promote Hatred,
Racism or Religious Persecution
Any product or service enabling
consumers to circumvent locks, programming codes
or security features, or to gain access to
features or services for which they have not
expressly paid.

the right to accept or reject vendors providing

considered "Restricted" by Payment24.

order cancellations, all without notice.
